Nikki Boetger will be speaking about the craft of illustrating for kids and also about the business side of illustration.

 Nikki grew up drawing in the front covers of my coloring books and on the back of paper place mats in restaurants. She did well in art classes throughout school and was encouraged to take it to the next level and apply for art school.

Nikki graduated in 2001 from Columbus College of Art and Design and walked away wanting to create art in the children’s market.

She now lives in South West Ohio, near where I grew up
with my beautiful girls, Ananke & Kaya (they are Alaskan Huskies).
